Tribal Development in
Araku Valley

The Araku Valley region—covering Araku, Paderu and Chinthapalli agency areas of Andhra Pradesh—is home to vibrant tribal communities who have preserved their culture and lived in harmony with nature for generations.
Yet these communities face long-standing challenges in education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities and infrastructure.

Key Areas of Work

Education & Skill Development

AAPK supports schools in tribal villages, provides vocational training for youth and women, and guides students toward higher education opportunities and scholarships.

Healthcare & Nutrition

We organize health camps, promote maternal and child care, raise awareness on sanitation and nutrition, and help families access government health schemes.

Livelihood & Economic Empowerment

We promote sustainable agriculture, animal husbandry, and dairy projects, while supporting traditional handicrafts and small-scale industries to create local employment.

Infrastructure & Connectivity

AAPK works to improve roads, electricity, clean water, housing, and sanitation facilities in tribal habitations in collaboration with government programs.

Cultural & Environmental Preservation

We preserve tribal arts, festivals, and heritage, protect local flora and fauna, and encourage eco-friendly development practices that respect the environment.

Our Goals

Our tribal development initiatives focus on creating sustainable growth and empowering families to become self-reliant while safeguarding their natural and cultural heritage.
