Local Industry and Employment

Creating sustainable local employment opportunities is vital for the development of tribal communities in Araku Valley, Paderu, and Chinthapalli. Araku Aadivaasi Pragathi Kendra (AAPK) works to establish small-scale industries and promote local entrepreneurship, enabling tribal families to earn livelihoods while preserving their cultural heritage.

Small-Scale Industries

AAPK supports the development of small-scale industries based on local resources and traditional skills. This includes setting up units for handicrafts, agro-processing, and other community-driven enterprises, providing both income and skill-building opportunities.

Skill Development & Employment

Through training programs, we equip tribal youth and women with practical skills required for employment in agriculture, dairy, handicrafts, and local industries. These initiatives create self-reliant communities with sustainable income sources.

Market & Export Promotion

AAPK helps tribal producers market their products locally and nationally, and explore export opportunities for handicrafts and agricultural goods. By connecting producers with buyers, we enhance income and encourage entrepreneurial growth.

Our Approach

We combine community participation, skill development, and access to markets to ensure that local industries are sustainable, culturally respectful, and economically empowering for tribal communities.
